It's All in the Witch's Brew...I Mean All Natural Bug Spray

This photo was taken so many years ago. My girls were all still itty bitty, I had a few less wrinkles, my hair was still dark (well, at least I was still dying it dark, but I'm sure there was a fair amount of grey already trying to take over), and Be Blends wasn't actually a "thing" yet. I was already making products and blending recipes, and the seed for the business was planted and germinating, but Be Blends was just an idea at the time. But there I was, on the 4th of July, concocting my "Witch's Brew", as my friend Tracy always jokingly called it when I was making bug spray, so that we could all go watch fireworks without getting eaten alive by mosquitoes.
I came across this photo today, and I wanted to share it because it very much embodies the reason and the "why" of Be Blends. Although we make our bug spray in MUCH larger batches these days, and the recipe is multiplied enough that we no longer measure the oils in drops like I'm doing on the back deck in this photo, but rather measure the oils in ounces in our warehouse, the recipe is still the same, and the reason we make it is still the same. What I made for my family all those years ago is still exactly what I make for my customers today.
Creating better, safer, cleaner, and affordable products for my family, my friends, and my customers is why I started, and it's why I continue, over 12 years later. My hope, then and now, is that Be Blends can be a trusted brand that people love and feel safe using and recommending to their friends and family. Our community has grown, our customer base has grown, and our love and appreciation for your support continues to grow every single year.
